The Ladywell Cup is a friendly, local community
tournament open to all Play Tennis Lewisham members.
Its aim is to bring our beautiful tennis community together and have fun while sharing a passion for the game! The tournament is divided into three stages: August for the first rounds, followed by two consecutive weekends in September for the remaining rounds, semi-finals, and finals.
*In the event of bad weather, the weekend of 27th/28th September will serve as a contingency for the semi-finals, final, and trophy ceremoпy.
Players have the month of August to complete their self-organised first-round matches and report the results to the organisers. The event team will assist with court bookings if needed.
Players eliminated in the singles first round will enter the Ladywell Plate, ensuring everyone plays at least two matches.
Winners from Round 1 will progress to the second round, which will be played on the weekend of September 13th and 14th. These matches will be scheduled and hosted by the organisers.
Players must be available on both days between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.
The tournament concludes with the semi-finals and finals on the weekend of September 20th and 21st, again hosted by the event organisers.
Finalists must remain available during the same time window: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
